The graphite packing ring is made of pure flexible graphite paper, and after being cut, it is pressed into a ring and filled with a spiral wound in a mold. In general, the cross-section is square, and it can also be in the form of a wedge in the form of a V. The latter two are suitable for high-pressure parts. In order to increase the compressive capacity of the packing rings, a 304 stainless steel mesh is wound in the product to increase the pressure resistance. The product can also be edged with stainless steel sheets on the upper and lower ends of the product, which will allow the product to last longer, especially on the V-face of V-shaped graphite packing rings.
